While the IT industry continues to tout Information Lifecycle Management, little is being done to assist with the simplification of storage management to better facilitate object based storage. This discussion will focus exclusively on new technologies to remove the painful management of storage tiers while at the same time provide industry standard interfaces to simplify application level integration.
